Privacy basics
Privacy at ExamLift
ExamLift is account-free by design and keeps the public product surface separate from a learner's private study flow.
The real workflow
- 1Use only a Source document you have permission to use; you are responsible for licensing and compliance.
- 2The original PDF is handled temporarily during extraction and is not retained as persistent product data.
- 3Extracted pages, the Practice Exam, Source evidence, and the Exam attempt are retained for at most 30 days.
- 4You can delete them immediately; deletion or expiration ends access and invalidates related exports.
- 5Anonymous access and Recovery link are bearer-style access; keep them private.
- 6ExamLift does not use learner material to train its own models.
- 7ZenMux and upstream models may still process requests under their applicable terms; ExamLift does not make an absolute provider no-processing, no-retention, no-training, or ZDR promise.
- 8Product analytics records allowlisted operational or aggregate events and excludes document content, Questions, Source evidence, and credentials.
What the public site does not show
A public visitor can read this page and start an upload, but cannot browse another learner's PDF, generated Practice Exam, result, or recovery credential.
Common questions
How long is generated study data retained?
Extracted pages, a generated Practice Exam, Source evidence, and an Exam attempt are retained for at most 30 days and may be deleted immediately by the learner.
Does ExamLift train its own models on my material?
ExamLift does not use learner material for its own model training. The configured AI provider and upstream models may process requests, so this page does not make a broader third-party promise.
